Broadband is here and taking advantage of the penetration rate gets easier every day. eMarketer predicts that by early 2008 over 157 million Americans will be accessing the Internet via a broadband connection. Companies are already enjoying being able to take advantage of “engagement branding”.
However now that rich media and specifically video is so widely accepted it ups ante for quality. The balancing point to this though becomes accessibility. Marketing dollars go so much further in an environment that is always on 24 hours a day and more importantly you know that your consumer is seeking your message. They want to hear about how you are better than your competition. They want to know what you have to offer against the literally thousands of other choices they have sitting in their google search window.
In fact folks are so adept at seeking the services they want there are even wi-fi gadgets like Chumby that sit on your physical desktop and keep track of all the extra things they entertain themselves with online.

Gosh seems like every time we poke our heads out we find a new way to deliver video online. Fun fun.
